- Commissioner
Wobker was appointed by Governor Graves to serve the newly formed
Commissioner District 5 beginning on January 13, 2003. He was
elected to serve a two year term in November 2004.

- Commissioner
Wobker owns and operates a beef cattle opertion in western Miami
County. He retired June 10, 2003 with 30 years of service as a
pilot with the Kansas National Guard.
- Commissioner
Wobker has served on the following boards: Miami County Planning,
Miami County Extension, Miami County Farm Bureau, Stanton Cemetery,
Stanton Township, Miami County Coop.
- Lyle's wife,
Rita, is an assistant to the Food Service Director at Paola High
School. Their children Brett and Bridgett attend Kansas State
University.
