Kansas Initiative For Stroke Survival (KISS) EMS Bootcamp


According to the American Heart Association, stroke is the No. 5 killer of Kansans. This program will focus on assisting the healthcare delivery system in EMS regions across the state in providing evidence-based treatment of stroke. 

Miami County EMS will be hosting this Stroke Bootcamp at Paola Fire Station with the University of Kansas Health System. This class will be limited to 35 attendees and interested parties must register here at a later date by checking back or contacting the KU AHEC Statewide Office by calling (620) 235-4040. Registration deadline is August 30, 2019. Boot camp is scheduled for September 4, 2019, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Paola Fire Station, 202 E Wea St., Paola, Kansas. 

Continuing Education Credit will be provided for all participants requesting the credit or a certificate of attendance. Click here for more detailed information about the event.
